VCU Set to Hire Architect for New Arts Institute

Virginia Commonwealth University's plan to build a $19.3 million gallery to showcase the works of its top-ranked arts school is about to enter the design phase.

The 32,000-square-foot arts institute will be built at the southwest corner of Broad and Belvidere streets on property owned by the VCU Real Estate Foundation that is currently used for surface parking.
