Mayor Announces Leigh Street As Site for Redskins Summer Training Camp

On Monday, October 22, Mayor Dwight C. Jones announced the City's plan to develop the Leigh Street (Science Museum) site as the new home of the Washington Redskins Summer Training Camp, beginning in 2013. In making the announcement, the Mayor also disclosed that Bon Secours Richmond Health System (BSRHS) and the City have formulated a comprehensive strategy to stimulate new economic development and jobs throughout the city.

Construction firm relocates to former city-owned property

Richmond BizSense reports about the new tenant occupying the restored 100-year-old Manchester Post Office along Hull Street in Manchester. The construction management firm Barton Marlow has leased space in the building to grow and expand its operations. Kevin McMichael, senior project manager, said, "We knew where we wanted to be, and we knew where we didn't want to be.
