City of Richmond Dedicated to Boosting Tourism

A September 26th article in the Richmond Times Dispatch titled, "City developing plan to help visitors take in historic riches," highlights preparations Richmond is making for the 150th anniversary of the American Civil War. Richmond Mayor Dwight C. Jones' administration has dedicated nearly $1 million to help tourists navigate the city and Governor Bob McDonnell added $3.6 million to the state tourism budget.
