MeadWestvaco To Move 128 Jobs to Richmond

Governor Bob McDonnell announced today that MeadWestvaco will relocate its Center for Packaging Innovation from Raleigh, N.C., to Richmond. It is estimated that MeadWestvaco will invest $10 million in the new CPI facilities. John A. Luke, Jr., chairman and chief executive office of MWV states, "By bringing our innovation experts together with our teams in Richmond, we will improve the real-time interaction and collaboration on which our business thrives.
